Kyoeisha Product History -Part 2- Honens cultivator, Greens Mower LM2

　As the needs of society changed, so did our direction.
What started as one journey soon opened the door to another, leading us into the world of agricultural machinery.
Here are two models that helped build the foundation supporting our company for years to come.

Honens cultivator

　Kyoei-sha grew into a leading agricultural company under the Honens brand.
Honens cultivators gained a strong reputation for their robust design and control levers positioned in accordance with the safety standards of the time, and became an explosive hit.
Regardless of the size of the farm, it was said to be a machine that every household needed.

Greens Mower LM2

　At that time, the second President Kiichi was convinced that the era of golf was about to begin, so he shifted the company's focus from cultivators to lawn mowers.
He conducted research on golf course maintenance equipment,including studying and prototyping lawn mowers and other machines.
As a result, in 1959, the company developed the LM2 Baroness Green Mower as the first model under the Baroness brand and began manufacturing and selling it. The LM2 model became the foundation of our golf course maintenance product line.

These machines represented more than a new product category. They signaled a turning point in our history.
