Have you ever wondered how our company's journey began?
Our latest machines are built on years of innovation, but every story has a starting point.
In this seven part series, we'll look back at 14 of our machines in chronological order, from the earliest models to today.
Through photos and brief highlights, we invite you to discover how it all started, and how far we've come.
It all started with this machine.
Sericultural Straw- bending machine Sokichi Hayashi, the founder of Kyoei-sha, invested his entire fortune to acquire the patent for the sericultural machine, and after further refining the design, began manufacturing and selling it on July, 1910.
He began manufacturing and selling it as the "Sericultural Straw- bending machine".
The machines were manufactured by 22 agricultural manufactures nationwide through a patent license agreement with Kyoeisha.

Pedal threshers In 1922, Kyoeisha began manufacturing pedal threshing machines, marking our full- scale entry into the agricultural machinery sector.
This machine consists of a frame made of wood and metal, equipped with a drum featuring comb-like teeth. By pressing a foot pedal, the drum rotates, and when the rice ears are pressed against it, it separates the grains from the husks.
When we began manufacturing these machines, many other manufacturers were already active in the market. We eventually expanded our operations actively export not only within Japan but also to South Korea, China, Taiwan and Southeast Asian countries.
This is where our journey began.
More to come in the next part.
In the next part, we will introduce the Honens cultivator and LM2.
